Jennifer Lopez's new movie booed at Berlin Film Festival
Jennifer Lopez’s new movie Bordertown was booed during a screening at the Berlin Film Festival, leaving the actress nearly in tears.
J.Lo plays a reporter in the movie about the unexplained murders of women in the Mexican border town of Ciudad Juarez. Lopez also co-produced the film.
The film’s dialogue and massive plot holes have been criticised.
Despite Bordertown being panned by critics, Lopez’s performance in the film was recently honoured by human rights group Amnesty International.
Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen co-star with Lopez in the movie.
