Britney Spears blasts media on new song
Britney Spears has attacked the media for always wanting “a piece” of her on a new song.
The pop tart blasts the media frenzy surrounding everything she does on Pieces of Me, taken from her as-yet-untitled upcoming album.
"I'm Mrs American Dream, since 17, they want a piece of me," Spears sings.
"I'm successful, rich and famous, I'm Mrs Oh My God, I'm Britney, Shameless.
"I'm Mrs Extra, Extra, This Just In, I'm Mrs She's Too Big, She's Too Thin."
Spears has been in the public eye since shooting to mega-fame with her debut single Baby…One More Time in 1999, with press attention intensifying following her marriage and divorce from Kevin Federline, stint in rehab and much-blasted recent MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) performance.
